Oh, woe is he. Former actor and football player OJ Simpson is now struggling in prison after female fans stopped sending him money, leaving him unable to bribe inmates to leave him alone.

According to Radar Online, Simpson has been calling family members to ask for money to be deposited into his commissary account for use in prison.  

His ily usually manages the money, letters, and other items Simpson receives from fans, but, according to sources, people no longer care enough to send him money. The source also notes that managing the commissary account is not a priority for his kids, indicating that he may be unsuccessful in hitting them up for money.

The football star fell from grace in 1994 after his ex-wife and another man were found dead; although believed to be the killer, Simpson was acquitted of the charges the following year. He later wrote If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer, billed as a hypothetical confession.
